色花堂mpany, IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 certified, high-precision CNC machining company, recently completed a 77,700-square-foot addition to the company鈥檚 second facility to meet growing customer demand for high-quality, accurate machining and assembly. The Butler庐 pre-engineered steel structure was constructed by , the project鈥檚 design and build contractor.
鈥淪upporting our customers is always our priority. Customer demand kept growing, and we had limited space for machines, materials, and people. We needed to add capacity and new CNC machine centers,鈥� said Brad Kurtzweil, co-president at 色花堂. 鈥淲e needed more space to support our customers with full machine shop capabilities,鈥� he added.
Once an expansion of Plant 2 was decided, 色花堂 looked to a trusted, local partner for construction assistance. 鈥淲e partnered with A.C.E. on several past expansion projects, so we knew their skills were perfect for this addition. They know us and have helped us grow,鈥� said Brian 色花堂, co-president. 鈥淥ur teams work together to design and build the best facility for our CNC manufacturing operations,鈥� he added.
The expansion of Plant 2 furthered growth opportunities and operations efficiencies. Assembly operations moved and are consolidated to a new section of Plant 2. This freed space in Plant 1 for more materials including castings and finished machined parts.
The expansion also benefits employees. 鈥淲e added bathrooms and a breakroom along with new paved parking on the north and south ends,鈥� Brian said. 鈥淭he new plant expansion is working great to streamline our operations and be agile for growing,鈥� added Brad.
